Over(K)eten: Support for your digital collaborations throughout your chain

10.03.2022

A full house of both real and digital enthusiasts for CHAIN's Over(K)eten event on successful data sharing in the agri-food sector in collaboration with ILVO, Workitects, Flanders'FOOD and Alimento Group and with the financial support of the European Social Fund (ESF) Flanders.

Over(K)eten

On 10 March 2022, Over(K)eten, the inspiration event of the CHAIN project, went live and we all enjoyed it!

Frank De Craecker (Workitects) mapped out the challenges and needs of digital collaboration. ILVO, Flanders' FOOD, Workitects and Alimento want to find a solution to these challenges with the ESF project CHAIN. The project was clearly explained by Anneleen De Visscher (ILVO).

The panel members, Kristine Piccart (Cow Coach), Du Nguyen (NDUX) and Koen Uyttenhove (ODYC) shared their experiences in this topic. Afterwards, the conversation could be continued during the networking moment.

A warm thank you to all speakers, panel members, attendees (both physical and online), the organisation team and the research partners and ESF for making this possible.

Sharing data safely, efficiently and with legal support throughout the chain is possible using the data sharing platform DjustConnect, and the benefits are already known. But how do you organise collaboration across companies when sharing data, so that the digital transformation is successful for each partner and the individual employee also feels helped and supported? ILVO, Flanders' FOOD, Workitects and Alimento are looking for answers to this with the support of the European Social Fund (ESF-Flanders) in the new project CHAIN, Connecting Humans in the Agrifood INdustry.

Call: keep an eye on CHAIN, or get involved

The action research CHAIN promises useful results: On the basis of the elaborated guidance paths and an extensive feedback loop, an inspiration brochure and script will be produced to make companies enthusiastic about data sharing with appropriate guidance. These handy tools will be usable by all sectors of the agro-food industry.
